Not even near-freezing temperatures and a blanket of snow could keep Buffs fans from packing Folsom Field on Saturday for Colorado’s first spring football game under head coach Deion Sanders.
A spring game program record of 47,277 strong filled the stands to watch Shedeur Sanders, Travis Hunter and several other new names face off in what was essentially a glorified scrimmage.
Highlights of the day included returning WR Montana Lemonious-Craig’s 98-yard touchdown reception, multiple explosive runs from incoming freshman Dylan Edwards and an honorary opening kick from 98-year-old super fan Peggy Coppom.
