Alabama basketball took down Grand Canyon in a low-scoring thriller that grabbed the nation’s attention. The four-seed Crimson Tide battled to the very end to defeat the No. 12-seeded ‘Lopes and advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
Mark Sears, once again, took charge of the team and led Alabama in scoring and rebounds. His leadership has boosted the Tide all season long and is now helping them in a deep March Madness tournament run.
Up next for head coach Nate oats and his team is the top-seeded UNC Tar Heels in the West Region. An upset win in Los Angeles would take the Tide to the Elite Eight.
