It may not have always been pretty, but [autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the Alabama men’s basketball team were able to leave Coleman Coliseum on Wednesday night with another win.
After trailing for the majority of the contest, the Crimson Tide were able to make the plays down the stretch to complete the comeback victory over the Mississippi State Bulldogs 66-63.
With the win, Alabama is now 18-2 on the season and a perfect 8-0 in SEC play.
The Tide struggled to see the ball go through the net from the field, but that did not have an impact on Alabama from the free-throw line. The Crimson Tide finished an impressive 19-22 from the charity stripe which proved to be the deciding factor.
Coach Oats and the Tide will step away from conference play this weekend the participate in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge against the Oklahoma Sooners in Norman.
