Penn State head coach James Franklin has Ohio State on his mind

Penn State head coach James Franklin has moved on from the double-overtime loss to Indiana and is focused on Ohio State in a tweet.

Penn State welcomes Ohio State to town after a disappointing loss to Indiana in double overtime this past Saturday. While it was a disappointing loss, to say the least, head coach James Franklin seems to have moved on and is focused on the Buckeyes.

He’s focused so much that he tweeted out his thoughts and it’s pretty one track, suffice to say. The Nittany Lions and Buckeyes have given us some great matchups over the past several years. Even though OSU has gotten the best of this rivalry in recent memory winning seven of the last eight, these games have been battle after battle.

Penn State comes into the game somewhat undermanned, most notably missing starting tailback Journey Brown. That won’t keep the Nittany Lions from giving it their best shot against Ohio State on Halloween night though.

While Michigan will always be the Buckeyes’ biggest rival, Penn State has become a close second. The argument could even be made that Ohio State is the biggest rival for the Nittany Lions. After all, how long can you finish second and not start to despise the team in front of you?

Franklin and Penn State will get their chance Saturday on All Hallows Eve. But with the Buckeyes rolling and no whiteout to back them up, it may be more of a nightmare for the Nittany Lions than sweet Happy Valley dreams.
