Patriots sign CB Cre’Von LeBlanc to practice squad

The Patriots signed Cre’Von LeBlanc to their practice squad after he was released by the Texans

The New England Patriots made a familiar addition to their practice squad Tuesday ahead of this weekend’s game against the Buffalo Bills. They signed cornerback Cre’Von LeBlanc to the practice squad after the Texans released him this week.

LeBlanc entered the NFL as a member of the Patriots in 2016, signing with New England after going undrafted out of Florida Atlantic. He never appeared in a regular-season game for the Patriots, failing to make the 53-man roster. He did have a pick-six that year as a member of the Bears, intercepting Matthew Stafford and returning it for a touchdown in Week 14.

LeBlanc didn’t appear in a game this season but played nine games and made one start with the Eagles last season, breaking up two passes and recording one sack.
