On Monday evening, the Carolina Panthers officially waived three players ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline in getting to the league-mandated 80-man roster.

One of those early casualties was wideout Krishawn Hogan. The 6-foot-3, 217-pound receiver was signed after a tryout back in late July. He last played in an official game two seasons ago with the New Orleans Saints.

The recently-signed pair of linemen, guard Marquel Harrell and defensive tackle Walter Palmore, account for the other two cuts. Harrell was signed this past Thursday as the team was sifting through the open market for much needed offensive line depth. Palmore was added the day earlier, filling the 85th spot on the team after they made six moves to get down to 84 players prior to last week’s roster deadline.

Carolina’s roster now currently sits at a total of 82 men. They must depart with at least two more players by tomorrow.
