Pachuca vs. Club America: How to watch Liga MX playoffs, TV channel, live stream

The two sides will meet for the third time in just two weeks

Club América and Pachuca will face off Wednesday night in the first leg of the Liga MX Clausura quarterfinal.

These two sides are getting very familiar with one another, having just met in the two-leg Concacaf Champions Cup semifinal.

Pachuca emerged victorious from that tie, defeating América 2-1 in last week’s second leg to clinch a spot in the final against the Columbus Crew.

Since that match, Tuzos have had to play twice while América hasn’t played at all. As the seventh seed, Pachuca had to go through the play-in round, losing its first match against Pumas on penalties.

That forced Pachuca to face Necaxa on Sunday with a place in the quarterfinal on the line, with Tuzos defeating Rayos 2-1 to clinch a spot in the last eight.

América clinched the top seed in the Liguilla by finishing in first place in the Clausura regular season, and will be looking to make it back-to-back Liga MX titles after clinching the Apertura in the winter.

The winner of this tie will move into the semifinal, where they’ll face either Monterrey or Tigres.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the match.
