Outbreak of COVID-19 cases causes Missouri to pull out of Music City Bowl

Missouri will end Eli Drinkwitz’s first season 5-5 after an outbreak of COVID-19 cases forced the Tigers to opt out of the Music City Bowl.

Eli Drinkwitz’s first season as the head coach at Missouri will end sooner than expected.

On Sunday, it was announced that an outbreak of COVID-19 cases in the program has caused the Tigers to pull out of the Music City Bowl. They were set to face Iowa

This is the third SEC team to have to opt out of its bowl game due to COVID-19 along with Tennessee and South Carolina.

Missouri ends the season 5-5.
