OT prospect Ezra Cleveland had remote meeting with Cardinals

He is projected to go anywhere between the first and third round of the draft.

The Arizona Cardinals continue to prepare for the NFL draft, even while their team facility is closed and the NFL has disallowed in-person meetings with draft prospects. They have been in contact with an intriguing offensive lineman.

According to Draft Wire’s Justin Melo, the Cardinals had a FaceTime meeting with Boise State tackle Ezra Cleveland.

Cleveland is not considered one of the top-15 locks, but has some promise. He projects anywhere from the middle of the first round to the third round.

Cleveland put on a show at the NFL combine in February.

He has NFL size, strength and athleticism. He measured in at 6-6 and 311 pounds. He put up 30 reps of the bench press. He ran the 40 in 4.93 seconds and had a vertical leap of 30 inches.

He was a three-year starter at left tackle for the Broncos after moving full-time to the offensive line after also playing defensive line.

He would appear to be a potential target if the Cardinals trade back in the first round, acquire a second-round pick after trading theirs to the Houston Texans or if he somehow falls to the third round.
