Analyzing Wednesday’s Orlando City SC at Nashville SC odds and lines, with MLS picks and predictions.

In one of many MLS games Wednesday, Orlando City SC (8 wins, 4 losses, 6 draws) visits Nashville SC (7-2-10) at Nissan Stadium. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. ET. Below, we preview the Orlando City SC vs. Nashville SC odds and lines, and make our best MLS bets, picks and predictions.

Nashville is yet again playing at home, where it has played 12 of 19 games this season. Only the Chicago Fire who have played more home games, with 13 of 19 matches at Soldier Field. Unlike Chicago, Nashville has been unstoppable at Nissan Stadium.

It has won seven of 12 home games and tied the other five. Both of Nashville’s losses were on the road; Orlando is 3-3-3 on the road.

With F Nani leading the way, Orlando will try to pull off the upset, especially after drawing its last two matches. It wouldn’t be shocking to see Nani used as a substitute following a full 90-minute performance Thursday in the Leagues Cup.

Prediction

Nashville SC 2, Orlando City SC 1

Money line (ML)

“LEAN” to NASHVILLE SC (-133) as it hosts a tired Orlando City side.

As noted, Nani may not start since the 34-year-old played the entire match Thursday in the Leagues Cup. If so, the Orlando attack, as it saw against FC Cincinnati two games back, will be hampered.

Additionally, Nashville has been red hot. It lost just once in the past month and a half and is coming off a 5-2 victory over sixth-place D.C. United Sunday.

Expect another strong showing from Nashville at home.

Over/Under (O/U)

BET on the OVER 2.5 (-115) as both sides have powerful attackers. Orlando should give Nani some time and it took him just a handful of minutes to score against FC Cincinnati in his last MLS outing.

For Nashville, it recently put up 5 goals on United, so its attack is clearly in full force. Nashville hit the Over in its past two games and in five of its last eight.

Orlando City player to the Over in three of its last five matches. Each team has a top-15 goal scorer as well with Nashville having two in the top 15. Combine it all, and the Over is a strong play.
