The Oregon Ducks football team was able to sit back this week and watch the chaos and calmly watch everything unfold in front of them.
In a week of numerous upsets, the Ducks had a bye before the big game with Washington and remain at the top of the US LBM Coaches poll.
With just one week left in the regular season, almost nothing has been settled regarding conference championship games. We do know one thing, however. Oregon will be in Indianapolis for the Big Ten title game and will be the home team. The opponent is still unknown, but it will most likely be No. 2 Ohio State for the second matchup between the two teams.
Texas, Penn State and Top 5 newcomer Notre Dame round out the start of the poll. Indiana dropped five spots to No. 10 after its 38-15 loss to the Buckeyes.
Arizona State was the big winners after Saturday’s games as the Sun Devils moved seven spots to No. 15. Kenny Dillingham’s team was picked to finish last in the Big XII and with a win over Arizona, they’ll play for that conference’s title.
Colorado and Kansas State each dropped out of the poll.
