Oregon Ducks postpone Saturday’s game vs. Oregon State due to COVID-19 protocols

The Oregon Ducks have had to postpone yet another men’s basketball game because of COVID-19 protocols, this time against Oregon State.

The Oregon Ducks have now been forced to postpone yet another men’s basketball game, this time against the Oregon State Beavers scheduled for Saturday night in Corvallis.

According to the Oregon Athletic Department, the game has been postponed “because of COVID-19 protocols within the Ducks’ program.” Oregon says that they will make every effort to reschedule the game.

This is not a new story for the Oregon men’s basketball program, which has had a slew of games rescheduled recently because of the coronavirus. After a pair of games against both Colorado and Utah was recently postponed because of COVID-19 protocols for the other teams, Oregon recently had to postpone their game against Colorado a second time, this time because of COVID-19 protocols within the Oregon program.

We will see when this game against Oregon State will be made up, but until we can start to get a handle on the COVID-19 outbreaks within the Pac-12, it seems that everything is up in the air.
