Five more Big 12 games later and things are suddenly looking very different. It’s like someone cut the Big 12 in half with a katana and we’ve spent the whole season watching the top half slowly separate from the bottom.
Oklahoma State has officially taken control of the conference, but Kansas State still controls its own destiny as well. Oklahoma and Iowa State need some help to get back in contention, and Texas needs to run through the gauntlet perfectly to end up in Dallas.
This week’s slate leaves something to be desired: the only game with upset potential is Oklahoma State hosting Texas. The Cowboys can’t afford a hangover from last week’s game as they face a talented but troubled Texas team.
Outside of that game, Oklahoma, Kansas State and Iowa State all face inferior opponents. It’s just a matter of taking care of business. Let’s get into the projections.
