Oklahoma moves up to No. 19 in Amway Coaches Poll

Oklahoma jumps up to No. 19 in the Amway Coaches Poll after crushing Texas Tech in Lubbock.

Oklahoma decimated Texas Tech last night by a final score of 62-28 to improve themselves to 4-2 on the year.

Last week’s win over TCU got the Sooners back into the top 25, and this win has them climbing even more at No. 19 in this week’s Amway Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.

Despite their close call against Boston College, albeit without Trevor Lawrence, Clemson remains at the top at No. 1.

Rounding out the top five is Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Georgia.

Other Big 12 teams in the poll include Oklahoma State at No. 12 and Iowa State at No. 17.

Kansas State falls out of the poll after their loss to West Virginia and now sit fifth highest among the other teams receiving votes.

Texas is also just on the outside looking in, having the most votes of any team not ranked in the top 25.

Oklahoma will finally be back home next week when they host Kansas in Norman.
