No. 19 Oklahoma is in as good of shape as they could have hoped for after their 1-2 start to the year.
The Sooners have racked up three straight wins and are playing their best ball at the right time. This coincides with the return of two extremely key players in DE Ronnie Perkins and RB Rhamondre Stevenson.
Their impact was obvious against Texas Tech with the Oklahoma defense offering up it’s best performance of the season and Stevenson punching in three touchdowns to pick up the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week.
Along with the lift they brought on the field, they also provided a huge emotional lift to a team that has missed them as leaders.
On Wednesday, Perkins and Stevenson met with the media for the first time this season alongside S Pat Fields and C Creed Humphrey. Here is what they had to say.
