Oklahoma DB Tre Norwood to participate in Reese’s Senior Bowl

Former Oklahoma defensive back Tre Norwood will participate in the Reese’s Senior Bowl set for later this month.

A fourth Oklahoma player will be participating in the annual Reese’s Senior Bowl.

Former Sooners defensive back Tre Norwood was announce as a participant on Sunday just a little less than a week after he declared for the NFL Draft.

Norwood joins fellow Oklahoma players Tre Brown, Creed Humphrey and Adrian Ealy in the contest that provides seniors entering the draft one final game chance to showcase themselves before the draft in April.

Norwood had easily the strongest season of his career in 2020 picking up five of his six career interceptions over the course of the year. The last one will likely be his most well remembered when he returned it for a touchdown to help the Sooners build an early lead in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl against Florida.

The four former teammates will lace it up with the Oklahoma helmet on for the final time on Jan. 30th at 1:30 p.m. CT in Mobile, Alabama.
