After needing a historic comeback to beat Baylor, Oklahoma was either staying put or barely moving up in this week’s College Football Playoff Rankings.

The College Football Playoff committee made that decision with the release of the Nov. 19 Rankings on Tuesday night, with the Sooners climbing just one spot to No. 9.

Lincoln Riley, Jalen Hurts and the 2019 Oklahoma football team found themselves in a 28-3 hole early in the second-quarter against now No. 14 Baylor before trailing the Bears 31-10 at half. The Sooners scored 24 unanswered in the second half, shutting out Baylor and pulled out a 34-31 win.

Here is how the rest of the top-10 of the College Football Playoff Rankings rounded out:

  1. LSU
  2. Ohio State
  3. Clemson
  4. Georgia
  5. Alabama
  6. Oregon
  7. Utah
  8. Penn State
  9. Oklahoma
  10. Minnesota

Oklahoma State, Oklahoma’s opponent on Nov. 30, jumped one spot to No. 21. The Sooners also gained another top-25 win as Iowa State moved into the top-25 at No. 22.

Oklahoma plays host to TCU on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
