Ohio State women’s basketball’s Cotie McMahon has officially earned a spot on the U19 USA Basketball squad. We told you about her being invited to the team trials last week and thought she had a good chance of making the team. After all, she already has a history of performing well with one of the Team USA junior teams and was one of the best freshmen in women’s college basketball last year.
And now, after going through the paces with 23 other players in Colorado Springs, Colorado, McMahon will again get to wear the Red, White, and Blue for the purpose of participating in the 2023 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup. The Big Ten’s Freshman of the Year was one of 12 players selected to be a part of the team.
