Ohio State vs. Rutgers: How to watch, stream, plus key players

Here’s how to find and watch the game between Ohio State and Rutgers Saturday. #GoBucks

The Ohio State football team stays on the road for the second straight game when it travels to Piscataway, New Jersey, to take on a 6-2 Rutgers team that looks like a more formidable foe than what we’ve seen during the past few seasons.

If the Buckeyes want to stay on the path to some pretty special things, it can’t overlook any opponent, especially one that plays really good defense and has a quarterback that can cause some issues as a dual-threat. It’s another early affair this week, and if you’ve landed here, there’s a good chance you are looking for information on how to find and watch the Buckeyes take on the Scarlet Knights.

Here’s everything you need to know, including some key players.

TreVeyon Henderson, Running Back – It’ll be the second game back for the OSU running back, and his presence makes the offense a much more balanced and dangerous one. Ohio State needs its defense to play a complimentary style with the offense and that’ll mean a solid running game on the road in some weather that’s beginning to turn colder.

2023 stats

68 carries for 457 yards (6.7 avg.), 6 TDs
7 receptions for 90 yards (12.9 avg.)

Gavin Wimsatt, Quarterback – If you haven’t watched Rutgers much this season, you’re going to be impressed with the athletic ability of Wimsatt. He’s not the greatest passer, but solid enough. Where he can really frustrate defenses is with his ability to keep plays alive and move the chains on the ground. The Ohio State defense will need to contain him on key downs to get off the field.

2023 stats

91-of-181 (50.3%) for 1,134 yards (6.3 avg.), 7 TDs, 4 INTs
73 rushes for 362 yards (5.0 avg.), 7 TDs
