My plans for Saturday have drastically changed after finding out that Maryland had to cancel on Ohio State due to a number of confirmed COVID-19 cases on the football team. And while I want all players and coaches to be safe and healthy, there is now a void in my life that needs to be filled.
With news that Alabama and LSU have been canceled as well due to a rise in cases on the Tigers football team, it doesn’t sound like the Crimson Tide have anything going on this weekend either. I’m drooling just a little thinking about it.
Apparently, I’m not the only one who likes the idea. Ohio State punter, Drue Chrisman, who is no stranger to social media, posted his sentiments on Twitter as well.
.@AlabamaFTBL you up?

Of course, we know this won’t happen with the Big Ten’s vigorous restrictions, but we can dream. Let’s hope that teams are staying healthy and the Buckeyes can get back to business next Saturday against what could be a top ten team in Indiana.
