Ohio State, Texas have the highest percentage to make CFP according to the FPI

According to the FPI, Ohio State and Texas have best odds to make the CFP.

There is a lot of momentum building for the Texas Longhorns and Florida State Seminoles for their wins over Alabama and LSU respectively. Ohio State is also 2-0 but their wins have been a little less impressive from media standards for the program.

The Ohio State Buckeyes are ranked No. 2 overall in the FPI (Football Power Index). They also have the best chance to make the College Football Playoffs at 45.3%. Coming right behind the Buckeyes are the Texas Longhorns at 45.1%. The Longhorns are ranked No. 6 overall on the FPI.

The only other team with at least a 40% chance is the Florida State Seminoles at 40.8%. The Noles are No. 5 overall in the Football Power Index.
