The latest USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll has been released and Ohio State remains in the No. 2 spot behind No. 1 Georgia and just ahead of No. 3 Tennessee.
The Buckeyes struggled a wee bit on offense in the first half of the game against Iowa but their defense was dominant, forcing six total turnovers for the game and scoring a defensive touchdown. The offense then found its groove in the second half and OSU finished with an impressive 54-10 victory.
There are multiple changes up and down the USA TODAY Coaches Poll because of several losses, but we always like to focus on the top ten. It’s unlikely that a team comes from below that range to make the College Football Playoff.
