There isn’t a harder room to be a contributor in college football than [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag]’s wide receiver room.
Offensive coordinator [autotag]Brian Hartline[/autotag] has developed and recruited at an insanely high level with no end in sight. Our current projected two-deep depth chart is missing [autotag]Caleb Burton[/autotag], so the news of him entering the transfer portal shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.
Burton couldn’t get on the field even though he was the No. 21 best receiver and 132nd overall player in the 2022 class according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
It’s unfortunate but this is a price that is paid for being one of the deepest position groups in all of college football. We wish Caleb nothing but the best at his next playing destination.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me and helped me throughout my journey! Glory to Jesus my God for carrying me through every moment in my life. Whatever you may battle in life, keep fighting and know that there is a God in heaven who loves you so deeply. God Bless! pic.twitter.com/jGTcfmWMa0

‘Tis transfer portal season and Ohio State still has is still over the magical 85 scholarship limit number, so we’ll continue to keep our heads on a swivel as anything else develops.
