The focus of [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] football’s 2024 recruiting class has recently changed, and rightfully so.
With the majority of the 13 commitments being on the offensive side of the ball, it should come as no surprise that head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] is turning his focus to the defense.
One player Day has turned his attention to is Georgia edge defender [autotag]Christopher Jackson[/autotag]. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 225-pound player was offered a scholarship by the Buckeyes.
Many want Ohio State to go after the top ranked players in the country, but it doesn’t always work that way. Currently, Jackson is unranked by all major services, but looking at his offer list, that doesn’t make much sense.
Blessed to receive an offer from Ohio State University!🙏🏽@OhioStateFB @TuckerFootball @ChadSimmons_ @RustyMansell_ @RivalsJohnson @Rivals @On3Recruits @adamgorney @JeremyO_Johnson pic.twitter.com/FUt8s5Rf3J

Jackson adds Ohio State to his growing offer list that includes Alabama, Florida and Clemson. Not bad for a player who isn’t ranked.
