For [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag], safety this past season was a bit of a mixed bag. There were some good plays and some bad ones mixed in as well.
One way to fix those problems is to sign some top prospects as the position, and California’s [autotag]Jadyn Hudson[/autotag] is viewed as one of the best. Although it took Ohio State a bit longer than some other schools to make a move on Hudson, they now have as they offered him a scholarship.
The 6-foot, 2-inch, 175-pound safety is rated as the No. 15 overall player and 3rd safety, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. That ranking is good enough to make him a 5-star prospect.

According to this report by Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports, Hudson didn’t mention Ohio State when asked about his top schools in a recent interview. This was before the offer so we will see if the interest is mutual between the two.
