Ohio State No. 4 seed in Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament bracket

Let’s get ready to cheer on the Lady Bucks this weekend. #GoBucks

The calendar officially flipped to March today and you know what that means, right? Yes, it means sleet takes the place of snow, and kite season gets ushered in, but more importantly, it means some tournament basketball is about to take place in an arena and on a television set near you soon.

March. Madness.

The Big Ten men still have another weekend to finish things up, but not the women. They have finished the regular season and are ready to get a little March Mayhem going in earnest this weekend in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The Ohio State women roared out to a historic start for the program and were all the way up to No. 2 at one point in the rankings, but have slid back a little because of injury and stiff competition. They will enter the Big Ten women’s basketball tournament as a No. 4 seed and a double bye. The Lady Bucks are set to get things cookin’ on Friday. They’ll play the winner of No. 5 seed Michigan and whoever outlasts each other between No. 12 seed Minnesota and No. 13 seed Penn State.

The rest of the Big Ten women’s tournament bracket is below, and it should be one whale of a conference tournament with as many as five teams having a legitimate shot at making a run to the championship.

Ohio State’s game is set to be played on Friday at roughly 2 p.m. ET, or 25 minutes after the game ahead of it at 11:30 a.m ET. Indiana is the No. 1 seed, Iowa the No. 2 seed, and Maryland checks in as the No. 3 seed.

Here’s to rooting on the Buckeyes and hoping they can regain that form we saw earlier in the year.
