Ohio State men’s soccer scores share of Big Ten Title

The Ohio State Buckeyes dominated on multiple fronts this past weekend. One of those was earning a share of the Big Ten men’s soccer title.

The Ohio State Buckeyes had a weekend for the history books just a few days ago.

Not only did the Buckeyes beat the Penn State Nittany Lions 20-13, but the men’s soccer program had a massive win over No. 10 Maryland on Sunday. That win earned the Buckeyes a share of the Big Ten Title.

The Buckeyes have been virtually unbeatable on the season. They are 12-1-3 overall and 7-1-2 in conference play with that lone loss coming on the road against the UCLA Bruins.

Ohio State has won three of its last four games and drew that lone other battle.

The men’s soccer team can now take their focus to the Big Ten men’s soccer tournament.

They will face the winner of No. 4 Washington vs. No. 5 Michigan State Thursday. The winner will have Ohio State in October with the Big Ten Final coming on November 17.

That said, the Buckeyes are the best team in the country, and they should be eying a national championship opportunity in the coming weeks.
