Ohio State leads all programs with eight selected to BTN’s All Decade Football Team

The Ohio State football program led all schools with a total of eight selected to the Big Ten Network’s All-Decade Team.

You kind of knew it was going to happen, but Ohio State led all Big Ten programs with a total of eight players selected to BTN’s All-Decade Team. This was after the Buckeyes led all programs with six players selected to the All-Decade basketball Team as well. Yes, Ohio State is your king of the decade when it comes to the revenue sports in the Big Ten.

We’ve recapped the selections already individually, but here is a recap of all eight Ohio State players that were selected. Keep in mind this doesn’t even include the Second-Team selections that also had a slew of OSU players appearing.

Quarterback

J.T. Barrett

Offensive Line

Billy Price
Wyatt Davis

Defensive Line

Chase Young
Joey Bosa

Defensive Back

Malik Hooker

All-Purpose

Braxton Miller

Coach

Urban Meyer

All of these are well-deserving, and you could sure make a case for others that appeared on the Second Team for OSU to have been elevated to the First Team, but maybe there would be a little anarchy from the other programs if guys like Jeff Okudah and Ezekiel Elliott found their way here too (but more on that later).

All told, it was a good showing by Ohio State, as you’d expect. Iowa, Michigan, and Wisconsin all came in with four players on the team which is a distant second place.
