As they do every week just prior to game time, the fine folks with the Ohio State football team have issued the availability report for the game against Tulsa. We sometimes get surprised by what comes out, and that’s the case here.
Center Harry Miller is still out, and we knew about the season-ending injury to safety Josh Proctor, but it looks like defensive end Zach Harrison will also be unavailable for today’s game. Look for either Jack Sawyer or J.T. Tumioloau to get more action in place of Harrison who has one sack and seven tackles on the year. Surprisingly, linebacker Teradja Mitchell is also a game-time decision, so hold tight on that one as well.
Here is the rest of the availability report.
Game-Time Decision
- LB Teradja Mitchell
Unavailable
- WR Kamryn Babb
- RB Marcus Crowley
- DE Tyler Friday
- DE Zach Harrison
- OL Jakob James
- BUL Jaylen Johnson
- OL Trey Leroux
- LB Mitchell Melton
- OL Harry Miller
- DL Noah Potter
- SAF Josh Proctor
- OL Ryan Smith
- OL Toby Wilson
The unavailability of Miller means Luke Wypler will likely get his third-straight start at center. It’ll be interesting to see how Sevyn Banks and others fit into the game plan now with the poor defensive performance against Oregon last weekend.
Ohio State and Tulsa will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EDT.
