Ohio State freshman named USA TODAY High School Athlete of the Year

What an honor, congrats Lincoln #GoBucks

Not only did [autotag]Ohio State[/autotag] sign a good quarterback in [autotag]Lincoln Kienholz[/autotag], they signed an exceptional athlete.

The South Dakota native was a 3-sport star at Riggs High School and was given a massive honor on Monday morning when Kienholz was named the USA TODAY High School athlete of the year.

Obviously, Kienholz starred on the football field but he also excelled on the basketball court and the baseball diamond. He was an All-State basketball player who finished his career as the school’s second all-time leading scorer and helped the baseball team win a state title. Kienholz also starred on the football team that won their 6th consecutive state title.

Congrats to Lincoln on an outstanding high school career and what hopefully is a stellar Buckeye career as well.
