We thought we were going to see these beauties on the person of every Ohio State football player last week against Illinois, but we know how that went.
The Buckeyes were supposed to debut all-white uniforms with the traditional silver helmets with Buckeye leaves on the road in Champaign, but that didn’t happen because of the coronavirus outbreak that resulted in the cancellation of the game and subsequent pause on football activities.
But never fear Buckeye Nation, it looks like OSU is planning on donning these all-whites for the game Saturday in East Lansing against Michigan State. How do we know? Well, we’re glad you asked.
First, the Ohio State Football Twitter account shared another tease of the uniforms earlier in the week.

Then, while appearing on his weekly radio show on 97.1 The Fan, Ryan Day also confirmed the attire that will be worn for the game. He said the players wanted to wear them and didn’t want them to go to waste. “It’ll be cold Saturday, so maybe that will be the right opportunity to pull them out,” Day said tongue and cheek.
So, we have good news that the game is on and some more good news that you’ll still get to see these alternate jerseys that were publicized as the “sub-zero” jersey.
Here we go. Game on.
