Ohio State football singing day primer for the 2025 class

Getting you ready for what to expect Wednesday. #GoBucks

It’s officially known as the Early Signing Period, but has become known as signing day since things were opened up in December rather than the traditional Signing Day in the following February.

That’s because almost all of the big-time programs will put together the vast majority of their signing classes on the first day of the Early Signing Period, making the rest of the recruiting cycle a simple afterthought.

The Ohio State football program is expected to sign one of the best 2025 classes in the country and the hope is that there’s not too much drama as things unfold on Wednesday. To get you prepared, we thought we’d set the table for what to expect and then you can follow as each OSU target officially commits by sending in their national letters of intent.

Here’s what to expect from Ohio State football during signing day for the 2025 recruiting class.

Ohio State football potential flip(s)

5-star CB Na’eem Offord

The buzz is that Offord could flip from his verbal commitment to Ohio State and end up either at Oregon or Auburn. As of late, there’s a lot of buzz towards him landing with the Tigers, but we’ll stay on top of the situation.

Ohio State remaining target(s) undecided

4-star RB Anthony Rogers

Rogers, a former Alabama commit, is really the only Ohio State target out there that has yet to commit. He will choose between the Buckeyes and Georgia between 10 a.m. and Noon ET. The latest intel has him leaning with OSU. As soon as the commitment comes down, we’ll have the news and include it in our Ohio State football Signing Day tracker.

4-star DL Jahkeem Stewart

Ohio State is in the running for Stewart but the expectations are that he’ll choose the Big Ten but head out to the West Coast and sign with USC. If there’s a surprise, we’ll have it.

2025 Ohio State football class outlook

As it stands right now, Ohio State currently holds the No. 3 class for the 2025 cycle according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings. Barring some major surprises, the Buckeyes will finish with a top-five class, probably a top-three class with an outside shot at landing the top class in the country.

These signing days always have a little drama associated with them, but Ohio State tends to not have as much as other programs because it tends to lock its commitments early and do a pretty good job of hanging on. The one to watch is Na’eem Offord who looks primed to flip to Auburn, then tune in to see if running back Anthony Rogers does indeed make a decision to wear the Scarlet and Gray.

We’ll have any major news as it happens.
