Ohio State football shares Ryan Day message to team on Twitter after Big Ten’s decision to postpone football this fall

Ohio State football shared the moving message Ryan Day shared with his team after the Big Ten’s decision to postpone the 2020 season. Watch.

We’ve been waiting to hear from Ohio State head coach Ryan Day after the stunning and depressing news of the Big Ten’s decision to postpone the football season to the spring. And to be fair, he’s probably still grappling with what just happened within his own internal mindset.

But that didn’t stop him from speaking to the team, and the Ohio State football program was kind enough to share it on their official Twitter profile. There’s no video of the moment probably because players were likely raw with emotion and didn’t need to be put on social media in such a state.

Instead, what we got was a very symbolic flyover of Ohio Stadium emerging from the clouds just below, with Day’s voice in the background.

We won’t ruin the message Day conveyed to the team because you have to hear the reassuring voice and passion in his tone. Do yourself a favor and click on the below video to get a sense of what all of this means to this program and Day himself.
