Ohio State football preseason camp 2020 projected depth chart

Ohio State is now officially able to prepare for a Big Ten football season. Let’s look at the depth chart with things back on the table.

Center

1. Josh Myers**
2. Max Wray

Myers’ decision to return makes this a locked down position. Harry Miller is future of this position most likely, but he’ll likely slide down to get the best mix of talent and production on the field. Look for Max Wray to then back up Myers in a pinch.

Left Guard

1. Harry Miller
2. Enokk Vimahi

Miller might be a future All-American at center, but he can play anywhere on the inside. Look for him to flash here for one year with Vimahi pushing and competing hard.

Right Guard

1. Wyatt Davis**
2. Matthew Jones

Davis is is back in the fold apparently after initially opting out, so he’s the clear starter here. Matthew Jones is available if there’s a need.

Left Tackle

1. Thayer Munford**
2. Paris Johnson, Jr*

We’ll have to watch what Paris Johnson does because he’s got exceptional talent. But Munford is the answer here with all that experience and production.

Right Tackle

1. Nicholas Petit-Frere
2. Dawand Jones

This might be the most hotly contested position on the line with either guy having a shot at nailing it down. Petit-Frere is ready to break out though with all that five-star talent finally coming into his own. Don’t be surprised if Jones wiggles his way into the rotation.

Next … another talented defensive line
