Ohio State football names its ‘3 Dudes of the Week’ for late July

Look at the trio that was named “dudes of the week” for OSU football. #GoBucks

We’ve been keeping an eye on social media to see who’s performing for the Ohio State football team in the offseason, and one of the spots we like to look at is the team’s “X” account that shows off the “Dudes of the Week.”

We’re not sure if that post will continue once fall camp begins on August 1, but we know that we got at least one more announcement based on what occurred this past weekend. The three “Dudes of the Week” from this past week are wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, tight end Patrick Gurd, and offfensive lineman Josh Fryar.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen these names be highlighted so they must be working pretty hard this offseason.

We’ll continue to see what players are showcased on social media, because that normally means they are impressing with their performance. We’re sure there’s even more coming with the start of fall camp.
