Ohio State football left off 2026 in-state offensive lineman’s top-five

Interesting news. #GoBucks

Ohio State football has done very well over the last few recruiting cycles to lock up the state’s top players.

That won’t be the case for 2026 offensive lineman [autotag]Will Conroy[/autotag], who on Monday morning announced his top-five schools, with the Buckeyes nowhere to be seen. The 6-foot, 3-inch, 275-pounder named Arizona State, Oklahoma, Miami, Michigan and Florida in his top group.

It’s a bit interesting to see Ohio State omitted on his list, as the only current 247Sports Crystal Ball pick was for the Buckeyes. It looks like the nation’s No. 328 overall prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings won’t end up in Columbus.

Ohio State is still in a good position to land the top in-state offensive lineman in Maxwell Riley along with another top-150 local prospect in Sam Greer.
