Through the first four games of the 2023 [autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] season, the Buckeyes have five total sacks as a team.
No player has more than one, which should mean the Buckeyes aren’t very good at creating pressure. That statement is incredibly incorrect. In fact according to CFB Film Room, Ohio State leads the nation in opponent-adjusted pressure rate generated.
Although this will not stop the clamoring for more sacks, it backs up the fact the Buckeye defensive line is getting the job done. When compared to the other top schools in the Big Ten, it gives you a much better sense of how well the group has played.

Sacks are sexy, but pressure is king. Glad to see the Buckeyes are getting plenty of it.
