The Ohio State Buckeyes will battle the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1, 2025.
Because Ohio State lost its last game of the season to the Michigan Wolverines, it wasn’t able to play in the Big Ten championship game or earn a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff.
The Buckeyes dropped to the No. 8 seed and hosted the Tennessee Volunteers at Ohio Stadium in the first round. The Buckeyes throttled the Vols, 42-17, behind Will Howard 311 passing yards and Jeremiah Smith’s two touchdowns.
The Buckeyes will be en route to California in just over a week, and here’s a sneak peak at what they will be wearing with the Rose Bowl patch nicely played on the jersey.

Fans will have to wait to see if they get the white on white jersey combination. However, this should be a clean look for the Buckeyes.
Ohio State’s battle with Oregon is set to kick off at 5 p.m. ET on New Year’s Day. With just a 2 1/2-point spread, this game is poised to be among the best quarterfinal matchups.
