Ohio State football commit making cross-country trip for Indiana game

Ohio State football’s wide receiver commit Phillip Bell will be making a cross-country trip for the top-five battle on Saturday.

The Ohio State Buckeyes bring in some of the best wide receivers in the country, and next season is going to be no different with talent like Phillip Bell joining the program.

Bell, who is the 28th-best recruit via 247Sports Composite Rating, committed to Ohio State in August and will be making the trip back to Columbus for the Buckeyes battle with Indiana.

He told the public that via Twitter/X.

Bell was recruited by Brian Hartline and visited back in June as well. With Ohio State having beaten out other Big Ten programs like USC and Penn State, getting a commitment from Bell was huge.

Bell will join Tavien St. Clair, the No. 2 quarterback in the class, and Devin Sanchez, the No. 1 cornerback, in Columbus next season. Let’s just say the Buckeyes will again have high expectations with this array of talent.

A four-star commit, Bell is playing his high school football with Mission Viejo in California, so to make this game, he’ll have quite the mission ahead of him. But, for a top-five battle, it should be worth it.
