The Ohio State football program is on the shortlist of teams considered the best in the history of the sport. As such, if you were to go into a lab and recreate the best all-time roster using any Buckeye player in history, what would the two-deep depth chart look like?
That’s exactly what we are doing here at Buckeyes Wire. We — and frankly all of our college wire sites — have taken on the unenviable task of trying to pick the best of the best of the best from OSU football to put together an all-time roster. We kicked things off earlier this week with our all-time offensive roster, and now we’re moving on to the defense.
As always with a program like Ohio State, there are bound to be some really, really good players that didn’t quite make our cut that you could argue for. But, hey, that’s a good problem to have when you are a fan of such historical relevance.
So, off we go with our all-time Ohio State football defensive roster. Feel free to get in on the conversation and let us know what you would change and why.
