Ohio State did everything it was supposed to do in a dominating performance over in-state foe Akron. However, it seems that wasn’t enough to impress AP voters.
In the latest edition of the AP Top 25 Poll, voters moved Ohio State down one spot from No. 10 to No. 11 in the weekly rankings. That might be more of a reflection of some impressive wins by Notre Dame and Arkansas.
After knocking off Texas A&M, Arkansas jumped up eight spots all the way to No. 8 in the country. And the Fighting Irish made a statement over Wisconsin and moved into the top 10 as well. Clemson took the biggest tumble, falling down to No. 25 after losing to NC State in double overtime on Saturday.
POLL ALERT: Clemson falls 16 spots to No. 25, snaps streak of 97 straight weeks in top 10; NC State enters at No. 23.

Ohio State travels to Piscataway to face a better than usual Rutgers team on Saturday as they look to try and climb back up the polls.
