According to a report from the WBNS 10TV in Columbus, Ohio State defensive back Haskell Garrett has been involved in an overnight shooting. He was taken to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center and is in stable condition and expected to fully recover.

The shooting occurred near the Ohio State campus. According to a report by NBC4 in Columbus, officers found a trail of blood and a shell casing near the 400 block of Chittenden Avenue around 12:28 a.m. That led them to the 40 block of East 11th Avenue where 22-year-old senior from Las Vegas was found. He was shot in the “cheeks of the face.”

This is a developing story and police did not provide any information on suspects and you can bet an investigation is ongoing. If we get anything from Ohio State we will provide further details.
