Apparently, John Walker has seen all he needs to see. The four-star defensive lineman had originally set his commitment date for October 22 later this year. However, on Friday, Walker updated that date and will be committing much sooner and now has the date set for July 28
The Kissimmee, Florida native will be choosing between Ohio State, Florida, Miami (FL), Michigan, and Central Florida. He is the No. 11 ranked D-lineman in the nation according to 247Sports composite rankings and a top-100 player overall. At the current time, there are two crystal ball predictions in favor of the Buckeyes.
Larry Johnson has had Walker as a top priority since offering the young man in November of 2020.

Currently, it seems that the Gators are the biggest threat to OSU’s chances of landing Walker. As of now, Ohio State has only one defensive tackle committed in the current class, that being Will Smith of Dublin, Ohio.
