Any potential NFL player has his play scrutinized and examined 1,000 different ways — especially through the NFL Combine and leading up to the Draft. There’s no discrimination either, all positions are under the microscope, including the defensive back position.
Just ask Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah, widely considered the best defensive back prospect available in this year’s draft. He has length, closing speed, athleticism, and elite ball skills according to most experts.
And, the tape doesn’t lie.
But he got a question from the media this week that was a bit out of left field. When asked about some of his sloppy play at times, Okudah seemed taken aback a little, but he was quick on his feet with an answer that shot it down immediately.
“Sloppy in what way,” asked Okudah. “I had zero pass interferences, zero holdings, so — cut the tape on again, I think you might see something else.”
Watch the quick exchange here thanks to Eleven Warriors’ Dan Hope.
Someone who I'm guessing didn't watch much Jeff Okudah last year asked him about having "a tendency to get kind of sloppy."

Okudah clearly but this lazy question to bed in a matter of fact way. He wasn’t combative and didn’t show that he was too terribly upset. It was just the facts, mam. Honestly, not many teams threw his way this year, but when they did, he was more than up to the task time after time.
Sloppy play? How about sloppy question? You know, uneducated questions and stuff like that.
