It appears the Ohio State men’s basketball team will be heading to Southwest Florida to play in the Fort Myers Tip-Off in 2021. This, according to a report from basketball analyst Jeff Goodman.
Other teams taking part in the four-team field according to Goodman’s sources include Florida, Seton Hall, and California. Dates and the schedule of matchups will be announced at a later date, but the tournament is slated annually around late November.
This news makes the second non-conference event the basketball Bucks will be a part of in 2021. Already announced prior to this was their participation in the CBS Sports Classic that was renewed for another three years just last week.

Chris Holtmann has made a change in scheduling philosophy that Thad Matta often frowned upon. He has embraced playing in some of the preseason traveling tournaments, and this is just another example.
