Ohio State basketball commit, Brice Sensabaugh, named Mr. Basketball in state of Florida

The future continues to look bright for the No. 5 ranked class in the country.

The Ohio State basketball team has a top 5 incoming recruiting class and there is reason to be excited about the future. One of those committed to Chris Holtmann was just awarded one of the highest honors any high school student can hope to receive. Brice Sensabaugh was named the 2022 Mr. Basketball in the state of Florida.

Sensabaugh is the No. 61 ranked player according to 247Sports composite rankings. Hailing from Lake Highland Prep in Orlando, Sensabaugh averaged 25.1 points and 7.2 rebounds per game while leading his team to an appearance in the state semifinals before bowing out to eventual champion, Fort Lauderdale Calvary Christian.

Sensabaugh becomes the second recruit in the Buckeyes 2022 class to be named Mr. Basketball in his home state. Bruce Thornton was recently named to the same honor in the state of Georgia.

The future certainly looks bright for the Buckeye basketball team. Let’s hope they can all stay together for more than a hot minute.
