Oh no, not again: Bills might have another cold snow game vs. Bears

Oh no, not again: #Bills might have another cold snow game vs. #Bears:

The Buffalo Bills have had some of their latest games feature the fluffy stuff: Snow.

The Bills (11-3) head to another place that’s used to the elements in Week 16. The Chicago Bears welcome them on Saturday, and early this week there’s a possible forecast the team has become accustom to.

According to the National Weather Service, there’s a good chance the “windy city” mantra will live up to the hype. Per their early-week forecast, the Chicago area is expecting harsh winter conditions in the coming days.

From Thursday to Friday, “blizzard conditions” could drop six inches of snow. Yes, kickoff is slated for Saturday at 1 p.m., however, you never know with a forecast.

They’re often wrong only hours prior, let alone nearly a full week ahead of time. The snow is something to monitor if the storm gets pushed into Saturday.

What’s more likely to be around is wind and “bitter cold.” Gusts up to 40 or 50 mph are anticipated and the time period for those conditions are already from Thursday to Sunday.

Already in 2022 the Bills have had to play in cold and snow. Just last weekend, Buffalo’s 32-29 win over the Miami Dolphins featured that.

Not to mention the Bills’ win over the Cleveland Browns… in Detroit. That feature was moved to Ford Field because of dangerous winter conditions.

At this time there isn’t any concern about Chicago needing to move Week 16’s feature with the Bills… but it certainly will make for some less-than-ideal conditions for the players and fans.

Bills Wire will bring updates on the weather throughout the upcoming week. Check back.
