Odell Beckham Jr. talks about future with Ravens following AFC Championship loss

The Baltimore Ravens season came to a disappointing end on Sunday in a 17-10 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship.

The Ravens will now prepare for a long offseason filled with decisions on which players to bring back from a long list of critical free agents. One such player is veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

After the game, Beckham was asked if he would like to return to Baltimore next season.

I mean, I absolutely love this place,” Beckham said. “I don’t know the political answer to that question, but I’ve enjoyed every single moment … This felt like a home. It felt amazing for me. The city of Baltimore … I wanted it for the city of Baltimore more than anything. I wanted them to be able to have that moment [when] we’re all standing on the field, and ‘The Bank’ [M&T Bank Stadium] is rocking, but [we] just came up short. So, like I [said], I’ll take a step back, evaluate the future and just go from there.

Beckham signed a one-year contract worth up to $18 million with the Ravens this offseason after missing the previous season due to a torn ACL he suffered in Super Bowl LVI with the Los Angeles Rams.

Beckham finished the 2023 regular season with 564 yards and three touchdowns on 35 receptions.
