Notre Dame gets their first 2025 commit as Florida defensive lineman verbals

The Irish have their first 2025 verbal

[autotag]Notre Dame[/autotag] got the weekend festivities started with a bang. Already with a very fast start in the 2024 cycle, head coach [autotag]Marcus Freeman[/autotag] is getting another quick start in the 2025 class.

It started as Florida defensive lineman [autotag]Davion Dixon[/autotag] made his verbal commitment to the Irish on Friday during a visit to South Bend for the Blue and Gold game.

Dixon is a solid recruiting win for the Irish as he’s a load in the middle of a defense. He’s 6-foot, 2-inches and 305 pounds, a frame that looks college ready with two seasons of high school football remaining.

The big man is rated as the 30th defensive lineman and 302nd overall prospect according to the 247Sports composite.
