Notre Dame beats Georgia Tech: Game balls for Irish

In yet another dominating game by Notre Dame’s defense, one player shined brighter than all others as the Irish moved to 6-0.

Michael Chen Game Ball Awards for Notre Dame-Georgia Tech:

Offensive:  Kyren Williams

Fumble aside Williams was once again the star for Notre Dame’s offense. He didn’t go over the century mark, 76 rushing yards, but he found the endzone twice out of his 15 carries. Williams also chipped in 24 yards on two receptions showing that he can be a threat in the passing game. He has been the MVP of the offense though the first 6 games and once again was the best player on offense for the Irish.

Defensive:  Daelin Hayes
This was easy, Hayes was a monster. In the third quarter he put on a show, forcing two fumbles on sacks, with the Irish recovering one of them. Hayes would later almost cause another fumble, only for the play to be called back but still stopping the Yellow Jackets on 4th down. The senior showed up in a big way today.
